$520 Million Mining Contract Win for BGC Contracting.

BGC Contracting has won a $520 million extension to their contract with Cliffs Natural Resources (a US-based iron producer), over five years for the Koolyanobbing Iron Ore project. The existing contract is due to to end next year and will now be extended to 2022.

THIESS WINS A $30 MILLION CONTRACT EXTENSION

Thiess has expanded its mining services contract at the Lake Vermont coal mine in Queensland’s Bowen Basin, and will design and build an additional processing module at the coal handling and preparation plant (CHPP), generating revenue of $30 million.

Thiess has been awarded a three-year contract extension by PT Teguh Sinar Abadi and PT Firman Ketaun Perkasa (members of the Bayan Group) to continue operations at Melak Coal Mine, in East Kalimantan, Indonesia.
